Blue Mule
Ranch is located in the eastern part of Lampasas County on Mesquite
Creek. I have 200 acres of rolling hills and gullies with an
abundant supply of wildlife.
I have been
in the Lowline Angus business for several years and have been
successful at marketing my purebred heifers. I have found that
none of my cows, including first calf heifers, have had problems with
calving.
The interest
in Lowline Angus includes the fact that they are small enough that I
can run two cows compared to one of the bigger Angus cattle.
And, I have seen, as everyone else has seen, that Texas, as big as it
is, is being cut up into smaller and smaller pieces. More and
more people are living on small tracts wanting to raise livestock and
maintain their agricultural tax exemption. I feel that Lowline
Angus Cattle will satisfy that demand.
There are web sites
that explain the origin of Lowline Angus Cattle. I refer you to
Southwest Lowline Breeders Association and the American Lowline Registry.
Get involved in the
Lowline business. I truly believe you will be satisfied.
